Q. Is Natural Healing College regionally accredited?back to top
NHC is operating under exemption from licensees code - 94874 under California Bureau for Private Post secondary Education

US Department of Education recognized accreditation as a vocational school would require we offer classes on a tradition semester basis with strict time and attendance. There are various organizations in the holistic world that are involved in going above and beyond to get recognition to Holistic education in our modern health care system and Natural Healing College shares those goals.

Our graduates with diplomas are eligible for board certification through numerous independent agencies that specialize in setting standards for holistic programs to make sure the programs are well rounded and meet the holistic educational standards such as American Council of Holistic Medicine (ACHM), American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB), American Association of Drugless Practitioner.

Our vision is to raise the standards in Holistic education. We set future benchmarks in order to provide our students not only the best education, but also to provide opportunity. We want our graduates to have confidence in their professional future. To this end we have negotiated post graduate internship opportunities with national holistic chains. Our internship coordinator works with each graduate (after they have submitted all needed documentation) for personalized placement. We are honored to have some of our own graduates among our internship providers.

Q. Do you accept financial aid like the GI Bill or Pell Grants?back to top
NHC is a California registered vocational school - not a university. Under California guidelines, only a title 4 school can accept state or federal funds. This includes the GI bill. NHC is not a title 4 school. Most vocational schools who are federally accredited become accredited because they train people for jobs requiring a state license or to receive federal aid. You can be nationally board certified but there is no such thing as state licensing in the areas of holistic consulting or coaching. We specifically train you to never practice medicine, in any way degrade western medicine, or imply that you are practicing medicine. Holistic wellness is not the practice of medicine. Title 4 schools in this field typically cost 10-20,000 a year and are based on synchronous classes with attendance schedules and tight weekly deadlines. It costs a lot of manpower to stay in federal compliance and that cost gets passed on to the students.
